Christmas Planning Guide:
1. Start with your intention: What kind of Christmas do you/don't you want to have?
Know the exact energy you're creating (cozy, comforting, magical) and what you're remedying (rushing, overwhelming, overdoing it).
2. Start your list: Who, What, Where, When.
Who is on your gift list?
What are you getting/making them?
What else do you need for hosting/events/projects/decorating/baking?
Where are you shopping?
When are you doing said shopping/wrapping/any project deadlines?
3. Set a realistic budget
Choose a total number that feels doable and divide it throughout your list. Create a check-in system to keep you committed to your plan.
4. Fill events/project days/hosting into your calendar.
Digital or paper, map out the days you are doing what this holiday, and make sure to schedule in lots of down time/cup refilling too.
5. Leave wiggle room for magic.
Don't over book, over plan or over do it. Let the magic of Christmas work it's way into your plan.
Cheers!
Kalyn
